Kelly Wood is passionate about working with growing businesses seeking stronger brand recognition and increased visibility. Kelly’s background includes more than ten years in sales, marketing and public relations, giving her a holistic understanding of the most effective ways in which PR can be leveraged to drive the success of product, service and overall brand image.
Helping her clients forge strong, lasting relationships with their target audiences is her #1 goal. She believes that credibility and an emotional connection with consumers translates into growth, sustainable profitability and a long term success.
In her nine years in the Valley, she has devised and implemented hundreds of successful outreach campaigns on behalf of her clients, including online visibility campaigns, VIP/opening events, community relations, and cause-related initiatives, trade show outreach, and valuable print, broadcast and online media coverage worth millions of dollars.
Kelly has also served on several committees for the Phoenix chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, including the Media Breakfast Planning committee and the 2004 and 2005 Copper Anvil Awards committees. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Phoenix Green Chamber of Commerce (501c6) and Sedona Jazz on the Rocks (501c3).
She graduated magna cum laude from Providence College in Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences and a concentration in Psychology and Communications. Kelly currently resides in North Scottsdale with her family. A self-proclaimed health-nut, her interests include nutrition (anything organic) and preventative wellness. She especially enjoys running, hiking and all types of yoga.
